ALL GAVE SOME, SOME GAVE ALL

Started in 2002 by Mayor Harry J. Pisapia, the Town of Galena continues to remember those brave people that lost their life on September 11, 2001. We remember and pay tribute to all who lost their lives on that day, from those who were present in the Towers & in the Pentagon, those aboard Flight 11, Flight 175, Flight 77, & Flight 93, to our first & second responders, to members of our own community affected, and those members of the military that answered the call of duty. The Remembrance Ceremony is an annual tradition to continue paying our respects to those lives lost and those affected on that tragic day.
